Summay:

Traditional paper Khleng Kandaung ("without a tail" kite) from Cambodia. Made with brown craft paper and bamboo. This is commonly flown by children, as a single line kite or a fighter. It can be made of in expensive lightweight white "bond" or brown craft paper. This one is particularly pretty, wiith an ornate traditional design in waterbased colors. The fringe is applied to both sides of the bottom of the kite, giving it a tail-like flying property as well as a nice design.
