Black Carrier kite with kingposts being attached to flying line close to early type winch. Front cell of kite seems to be distorted, but shows fairlead attachment and flying line clearly. Note three posts/pegs secured in ground to hold winch and wicker kite seat nearby. Cody instructing. Black Kite with white edge banding. Summer as men are in shirtsleeves and flying field has long grass. Distinguishing marks identifying individual kites are the number and length of the white load tapes used to attach the bridle lines.
