Cody in wicker kite seat being lifted by very large (Viva?) Extended Wing War Kite. Kite has vertical central post with fairlead. Cody about 20 ft in air. Lifter kites can be seen in 082. the bottom lifter is the Queen Alexandra Kite. Large crowd.. Kite trials for the Admiralty on Woolwich Common. Same as 082, 196, 438. Image 082 is of high interest as it is uncropped and shows lifters. Image 196 is clearest of kite but is reversed.
