Traditional Japanese Buka kite. Made with handpainted, very lightweight washi, bamboo spars. There is much handwritten Japanese Kanji on the kite front, and in English, "ShingoŢ Handpainted design with kanji characters, the date is written on it in the left, 10/11/1998. It has a hummer which is a split in half piece of bamboo. The vibrating line is that of plastic. Two-point bridle.
This might be a kite made by one individual but presented to us by a group of kite makers.
