ISBN: 0 Language: English Description: Over the past ten years we have been asked many, many times about the "best" kite to use for aerial photography.
To this question there is no simple and complete answer.
For example, to lift a 10*8in plate camera to 600m is obviously going to require a much larger and more specialised lifter than, say, to lift a Kodak Disc 4000 camera to 60m. The aim of this little book is to give some guidance and advice for the entire process of assembling an aerial photography system. Any generalised aerial photography system may be considered to consist of four major components. These are; --
1. The suspension system.
2. The camera.
3. The cradle.
4. The remote control system.
Each of these components will be discussed and described in the subsequent sections.
The final half of this book will describe and give the construction details of a number of different aerial photography systems and components that have been built and flight tested by me over the last nine years.
