ISBN: 0-947286-12-8 Language: English Description: "Make Mine Fly attempts to isolate and define the tiny problems, anyone of which not being solved, is able to prevent a kite from successful flight.
This edition incorporates some information from Four Standard Australian Kites and Make Mine Fly Volume 1, published in 1977 by the Australian Kite Association, and which attempted to isolate and define some elements of kite construction.
These information sheets were distributed free at the regular flying days of the Australian Kite Association on the first Sunday of each month in Royal Park, Melbourne, Australia, during 1981, 1982,1983,1984,1985,1986, and 1987. They were designed as pin-ups for schools and most of the information is suitable for both children and adults.
All of the information is 'new' in that it is not available in other kite books.
The plans are of kites which have been designed, manufactured, sold and flown successfully in Australia for the past ten years.
Because of the superior strength of Australian Mountain Ash dowel used throughout, overseas builders might need to use equivalent tubing in the larger kites."
