Art kite by Scott Skinner (USA). With a sail based on the traditional Japanese children's fish kite,
Skinner patchworks geometric shapes in blue. He reconfigured the bamboo sparring to be used as the tail. Spars emerge in a curvilinear pattern to make connections at verigated lengths.
Woodblock print using gouache on washi with bamboo spars. Commissioned by Drachen Foundation for Wings Over a Floating World exhibition to travel through Mexico in 2010.
