The showroom of Hiromi Paper International was the setting for this kite making workshop taught by kite artists Nobuhiko Yoshizumi of Japan and Greg Kono of Seattle.
Kite making at Hiromi Paper International brought together traditional and contemporary kite making expertise with a collection of some of the world’s most exotic art papers. Participants chose from a wide variety of art papers to make their koma dako kites. As an added attraction, the group was instructed in the art of miniature flight, using lightweight papers to make kites no larger than 3 inches!
