Two models of Cody war kites, one with lifting basket. Model kites are composed of paper, wood, thread. Basket is carved wood. Hand drawn pencil guidelines appear on front and back of sail. Basket's woven detail is hand drawn in pencil. Purchased together with samples of fabrics used in kite construction, a sales brochure for the Cody War Kite and two copies of an advertising leaflet for Pearson's Magazine.
