This is a traditional kite of Yaripa, Colombia, South America. Made for the Ft Worden Kite Retreat, 2001. This six sided hexigonal kite is made of bamboo spars connected by a metal screw at the center, nylon line used around the frame to reinforce sail and to allow the material/sail to be glued around onto the frame. Three-point bridle.
