Focus:
Students paint with ink on the kite sails, adding a range of line qualities and then selectively add warm and cool colors.
Curriculum Integration:
Developed and tested in conjunction with a local school and a visual arts consultant, this lesson plan was designed to integrate Washington State visual arts learning standards with a kite making activity. With specific targets, criteria and instructions, this lesson creatively teaches art learning standards.
