Indian travel agent Prakash has led numerous “desert kite tours” in India. Traveling to Jodphur and Jaipur during the kite season leading up to Makar Sankranti, (a national holiday of India’s Festival of Harvest and Celebration of Winter Solstice occurring annually on January 14th & 15th), his guests have witnessed the kite frenzy which occurs in these two cities as well as traveled to landmarks such as the Taj Mahal.
