Abdul Rahman Al Farsi is the owner of the world’s largest kite (as of May 20, 2011), a giant manta ray made by Peter Lynn of New Zealand. Over the last decade, the Al Farsi family have become active and visible kite ambassadors in their country of Kuwait. They have promoted kites through festivals and public flies and see kite flying as a positive activity for young and old.
