Founder of the American Kitefliers Association, Bob was a central correspondent to the American kite world in the 1960s and 1970s, before a new generation of flyers came to the sport. He was an active promoter of the pastime and his letters to the likes of Jalbert, Rogallo, and Garber were the heart of many early American kite publications.
