Brooks has been at the center of Kite Aerial Photography (KAP) in the United States since the 1980s. His publication, The Aerial Eye has become an American Kitefliers Association staple on the subject. Brooks has organized international conferences, introduced countless new converts to the skill, produced a number of KAP-specific products and guides, and continues to takeremarkably beautiful photographs.
