Carl came to kites as a pastime during his student years at Oregon State University. He was a creative designer of the cross-deck and “wolf genki” kites – and one of the first promoters of American Art Kites. He has recently re-emerged on the kite scene as a patent/rights attorney who is willing to fight against unscrupulous kite producers, wherever they may operate.
