An aeronautical experimenter at the end of the 19th and early 20th Century, Lamson is known for his “Aerocurve” kite, an elegant cellular kite with cambered sails and an airplane configuration. He experimented with man-lifting kites and was active in the American aeronautical arena prior to the Wright Brothers’ first flight.
