"Drachen Design invited the following 25 artisans to be 1991's Kite Pin Invitation artists. Drachen asked the artists to design a pin which indicated their interests or experiences in kiting. Without being too restrictive, we hoped these images would be a personal statement -- an existing favorite kite, interesting graphic, or a "future" kite design. This is a collection of cloisonne and enamel pins. Each pin has a single point/tie tack clasp and is enclosed in exclusive packaging. A short artistic biographic statement is included."
