Cody on white horse (Bergamo/Vichy?) directing operations with very large box King kite. Winch in foreground. Probably Bury St. Edmonds but could be Leeds or Worcester. as similar tree line as in 255. with Major Trollope in January 1902. This is likely to be description 4) Laying the kites out, at 2.30. I am acting here as the Officer on command on the gray horse.... in Journal A .. S F Cody's Aroplaine...etc. Same as part of 184A but reversed. Part of sequence of photos that include 035, 044, 096, 177, 184, 253, 254, 255, 256, 261, 262, 384, 442, 509, 695, 753, 754, 756, 757, 779, 783, 784, 797. Very faint image, reversed and part of 262.
