Rear view of very large Extended Wing War Kite with Cody in wicker kite seat. The kite has extended fairlead/control rod fitted to the lower centre cell, so is not the same configuration as 530 (which appears to be the same kite). The image was used in "Airships Past and Present" by Hildebrandt page 120 (1908, first published 1906) as well as other period publications. There is an almost similar engraving in the Illustrated London News for 6th December 1902 so could be Worcester?. Cody used copies of this Illustrated London News pasted to cardboard with the hand written inscription " S F Cody Inventor of this Marvellous Kite will appear here shortly in the Klondyke Nugget."
