Summer as men are in shirtsleeves and flying field has long grass. Same as 421, 717. Distinguishing marks identifying individual kites are the number and length of the white load tapes used to attach the bridle lines. This image appeared in The Sphere on 2nd August 1904 mentioning that experiments had been carried out at Aldershot.
