Very large Extended Wing White War Kite being launched from HMS Starfish during first sea trials in March/early April 1903. Note long fairlead stick mounted along lower centreline of bottom cells. Also Cody's extemporised kite winch. Photo but no caption in "Report on Experiments with Kites" 7th April 1903. Same as 424, 485.
