Language: English Description: "This booklet has been compiled to provide a sample of the range of kites which were created by Lawrence Hargrave, one hundred years ago. Those kites which have been included in this booklet are a combination of the earliest examples of his small box kites and a selection of his "soaring" kites.
The drawings were drawn and dimensioned in several scales. Most of them were dimensioned as half the size as built by Hargrave. Several were dimensioned three quarters of the size as built by Hargrave, while a few were dimensioned full size. The scale of dimensions is stated on each drawing, so that the reader may select a suitable size for the kites to be re-constructed."
