Centipede kite with dragon head from Weifang, China. Centipede section is made from handpainted silk circles with bamboo frames, attached at the center of bamboo sticks with feathers on the ends. Approx. 28 sections are linked together with string. Dragon head is handpainted, very colorful paper mache and styrofoam, and attaches to front of centipede train. Kite comes in a green and blue fabric-covered hinge box.
