These kites are samples of traditionally made barriletes gigante kites made by the community of Santiago Sacatequepez, Guatemala. They are hung in the arts and crafts warehouse in Antiqua. A salesperson working there told us that they are from the 1950s. Tissue paper and bamboo, geometric designs.
