This photo was taken in the pueblo of Sumpango, Guatemala by Jose Sainz while researching and documenting the giant kites of Guatemala with Scott Skinner and Ali Fujino, October 27-November 2nd, 2010. It was shot digitally. The children were flying their kites in the street. Their kites looked as if they were traditional barriletes made of plant reed(spars) and cut tissue paper. Size of kites were about 9 inches.
