One of the best hobbyist kitemakers in American during the 60s and on was that of Harold Writer of Seattle, Washington. These wonderful scans illustrate his research and how he applied what he learned to his kites. His craftsmanship was of the best, having extremely acute woodworking skills, he made his living installing hardwood floors. Accuracy was of great importance to him.
