Traditional paper Wau Bulan by Ahmad Abdullah of the State of Kedah (Malaysia). Kite is made with intricately handcut pieces of metallic paper, backed with bright yellow wrapping paper. Uses bamboo or reed spars and has shredded crepe paper tassles at top and bottom. Hummer attached is two pieces sandwiched over the top of the kite, and is wrapped with paper and vibrating line of plant fiber. Not bridled.
Includes documentation attached to back. Ahmad Abdullah was a contestant in the 2006 Pasir Gudang Kite Festival where he entered this kite B3/7.
