Traditional paper Wau Bulan from Malaysia. Made with white glassine paper and bamboo or reed spars. This kite was a competition kite from Pasir Gudang Festival, purchased from the field by kite maker/artist David Wagner (USA). This is an unsual piece as its design is intricately drawn using marker pen, most likely a student artist. It is not backed, has a two-point bridle, single line.
