Language: English Description: The intent of this booklet, the American Kitefliers Association's Rules and Guidelines for Kitemaking Competitions, is to document the process by which AKA National Kitemaking Competitions will be conducted at AKA's Annual Conventions and to provide guidelines to facilitate an orderly and effective management of those competitions. It is intended that these guidelines be widely disseminated so that the competitors will understand the rules of the National Competition. These guidelines have also been updated for consistency with other AKA publications, particularly the International Sport Kite Competition Rules, Third Edition, and The AKA Manual on Kiting Events, 1992 Revised Edition.
