I would like to submit location that could be in the top 10.
Liberty State Park, New Jersey. exit 14B off the Turnpike.
Behind the statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, across from the Ground Zero (World Trade Center)...etc
Free parking, restrooms, picnic area, HUGE kids playground, wild life reserve for great bird watching, tours of the statue and Ellis, nearby downtown jersey city with with affordable to high end restaurants and 5 mins from the Holland Tunnel for in/out of Manhattan.
It has a ton of room, and all grass . It catches a great south wind from the water which is the start of the Hudson River and bay. Several cruise liners launch and dock in the area.
Ask anybody that has flown at LSP .
