Comtemporary Eddy reproduction kite by Hugh "Stretch" Tucker (USA). Made with grey ripstop and dowels, the front of the kite it printed with a large number 9 in a black circle. This type of Eddy kite was used to raise meterological equipment at Blue Hill Observatory, Milton, Mass, in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The "9" was which number of Eddy was flying, indicating how many on the train of kites to pull up the equipment. Two-point bridle.
