Miniature koi kites by Nobuhiko Yoshizumi (Japan). Made using washi, no spars, just on fold down the length of the sail. Attached to fine silk flying line and bamboo flying stick that looks like a fishing pole. Each koi is hand painted with orange and black watercolor and details of fins and scales are drawn in black ink. Two sets of nine kites fit into custom made boxes with bamboo dividers and stick holders, and boxes are lined in washi.
