Announcing the 12th Historical Kite Workshop, which will be held at ‘Gut Ankelohe’, Bad Bederkesa, Germany. The event will include presentations and lectures, a traditional raffle, and of course a kite workshop. The kite which will be created is the eagle kite, presented at the workshop in 2011 in Apeldoorn. The price for the weekend is 150.-€, which includes accomodation and meals from Friday afternoon to Sunday (lunchtime) and of course the kite kit is included as well. Please be aware that drinks are not included.

Workshop registrations will be accepted beginning October 4th, and should be sent to anmeldung@historical-kite-workshop.de . Once you’ve pre-registered, you will receive payment information.

Also, as during the last workshops, we invite you to participate in the ‘speaker corner’. If you would like to present to the participants of the workshop, please contact us with a bit of info about the topic you will present. Presentations can be any length, from 5 to 30 minutes.

One of the main lectures will be given by Daniel Hentschel, a well-known Steiff expert. As part of his presentation, he will give workshop participants the chance to have their Steiff kite’s age identified (as well as teddy bears and toys!) to the best of his ability.
