Come "Interact" with Us

In keeping with the Drachen spirit – moving faster than wind – we discovered that many of our projects and experiences with kites were real time. To share this, we have developed several new features on our website.

Our home page now displays three "buttons" on the right side. These buttons change regularly and direct you to things like upcoming events and new articles. Click and discover something new from Drachen! We have also added two monthly columns to keep you up-to-date on our adventures:

"Kite Wanderings" is a monthly posting of stories from the travels of Drachen Foundation. Contributors include Executive Director Ali Fujino and Board President Scott Skinner. The first post by Ali Fujino describes an upcoming exhibition of world-renowned artists Heather & Ivan Morison’s magical Bunyon-esque kites.

"Collections in Focus" is a monthly posting of stories about the Drachen Foundation archive written by DF staff. The first post by Collections Manager Shelly Leavens explores the 1976 Bicentennial Kite Calendar & Almanac. Don’t miss the contest on image 4! The first person to name three people shown in the photograph wins a DF Logo Patch! Contest ends June 1, 2010.
